Lava Rock Labs LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Hawaiian Moon Calendar mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

2.1 Location Information

With your permission, we collect GPS coordinates when you log fishing catches to help you remember your secret fishing spots. Location data is only collected for the fishing calendar feature, not for planting activities.

2.2 Photos

If you choose to add photos to your fishing or planting logs, these images are stored with your account. We only access your camera or photo library with your explicit permission.

2.3 User-Generated Content

We store the following information when you create logs:

• Species/plant names
• Secret spot names (fishing only)
• Catch weights
• Notes and observations
• Date and time of activities
• Hawaiian moon phase data

2.4 Subscription Information

When you purchase a premium subscription, we process payment through Google Play. We do not store your credit card information. Google Play handles all payment processing securely.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide Hawaiian moon phase calendar and tide predictions
• Store your fishing and planting logs for your personal reference
• Display your secret fishing spots on a map (visible only to you)
• Process your premium subscription
• Improve the App's features and functionality

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud Platform). We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

Your logs are private: Only you can see your secret spots, catches, and planting records. We do not share your personal fishing or planting data with anyone.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• NOAA Tides & Currents API: For real-time tide predictions (publicly available data)
• Google Play Billing: For subscription processing
• Firebase/Google Cloud: For data storage and authentication

6. Permissions

The App requests the following permissions:

• Location: To capture GPS coordinates for fishing spots (optional)
• Camera: To take photos of catches/plants (optional)
• Photo Library: To attach existing photos to logs (optional)
• Calendar: To set reminders for good fishing/planting days (optional)

All permissions are optional. You can deny them and still use the basic calendar features.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Opt out of location tracking
• Export your fishing and planting logs

9. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (logs, photos, locations) will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
